Dreame D10s Pro vacuum cleaner robot in test

It's been almost a year since we tested the last vacuum and mop robot from Dreame's affordable D series! Finally, the Dreame Bot D10s Pro is a new model from the well-known manufacturer that has come onto the market and is finding its way to us. The manufacturer is anything but unknown. The Dreame D9 and the Dreame D9 Max even made it onto our list of the best vacuum robots!

The new D10s series is being launched with three different models: D10s, D10s Plus and D10s Pro. In the end, the individual devices do not differ much from one another. The Dreame D10s Plus is the only one that comes with a suction station that at least automatically empties the dust container. The D10s Pro and the D10s have a water tank of 235 milliliters that is about one and a half times larger than the D10s Plus series with 140 ml. The D10s model without an additional name is the most simply equipped; for example, AI object recognition has been omitted and the vacuum robot is only equipped with a bumper. At €300-400, we are in a reasonable price range anyway and anyone expecting decent wiping performance should take a look at the models in the L and W series from Dreame. Most recently, the Dreame L10S Pro was able to impress in the test. But now we want to talk about the inexpensive Dreame D10s Pro.

The Dreame D10s Pro is a comparatively quiet robot vacuum cleaner. In turbo mode it reaches a volume of around 60 dB(A), whereas in the standard setting it is around 50 dB(A). Using the mop pad does not increase the volume. The suction noise changes slightly depending on the surface.

Design and workmanship

The Dreame D10s series is available in black and white (both in high gloss). The white version has some grey details and a red laser tower on the bottom, while the black model is plain. The Dreame D10s Pro has a classy appearance, the individual parts have been well processed together. Even when lifting and gently shaking the robot, there is no creaking or cracking. After this test, however, the disadvantage of a high gloss surface becomes clear: every fingerprint and every speck of dust on the robot is clearly visible. A bumper is installed in the front half of the Dreame Bot D10s Pro. There are three haptic buttons on the top, in front of the laser tower. In the middle is the on/off switch, on the right is the home button and on the left is a button that starts a “spot cleaning” in wiping mode. When the robot starts up, all three buttons light up, while in use only the on/off switch lights up. Including the laser tower, the robot is 12 centimeters high. The dimensions without the laser tower are 35 x 35 x 9.7 cm. Under the cover there is a QR code for connecting the Dreame D10s Pro to the Dreame Home app. There is also storage space for the small cleaning utensil included and the dust container. By operating a latch, the dust container can be removed and carried to the trash can and emptied without spilling the contents.
